Fiodar Paretski was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ('Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them'). The case was considered by the judge Sviatlana Andreyeva.
Paretski was in custody from August 24 to 26, 2022. He was accused of taking to the streets on August 9, 2020, in Zhlobin (Gomel region), in protest against the election fraud.
On October 18, 2022, the Zhlobin District Court judge Andreyeva found Paretski guilty under Part 1 of Art. 342 and sentenced him to three months of arrest.
Paretski is to serve his term at the police guardhouse of the military commandant's office.
