Dzmitry Vakulenka is a resident of Lida, a student of Lida Lyceum of Melioration Construction.

Dzmitry was charged in a criminal case under Article 364 of the Criminal Code (violence against police officers) and Article 342 of the Criminal Code (group actions that grossly violate public order). According to the accusation, Vakulenka and four other people, acting in a group with other persons, threw pieces of paving tiles and other objects at police cars. Dzmitry pleaded partially guilty.

On 18 June 2021, he was sentenced to one year in prison and taken into custody in the courtroom.

According to the information available to human rights defenders, Dzmitry should have been released in June 2022.
