Dzmitryi Padlobnikau was detained in Moscow. He was accused of violence or threat of violence against an officer of the Interior (Article 364 of the Criminal Code).
Several trials were held in Moscow to extradite Dzmitryi to Belarus, as a result of which the defendant was handed over to the Belarusian authorities, despite the ban by the European Court of Human Rights, to which his lawyers had applied. On January 11, the General Prosecutor's Office of Belarus informed about the extradition of Žlobin.
On May 4, 2022, Padlobnikau was sentenced to three years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
