Dzmitryi Mitskevich was arrested together with his wife Alena Mitskevich on April 5, 2023, at work, and taken to the Frunzienski district police station in Minsk. Dzmitryi was sentenced to 13 days of administrative arrest, and Alena to 15 days, both for "petty hooliganism".
After the administrative arrest, the spouses were not released. Instead, charges were brought against them under Article 342 of the Criminal Code ('Organization and preparation of actions grossly disrupting public order or active participation in them'). Now they are in remand prison #1 in Minsk.
