Dzmitryi Makeyeu is charged with violating three articles of the Criminal Code:
- Part 2 Art. 361-3 – “Financing the participation of citizens of the Republic of Belarus in an armed formation on the territory of a foreign state in armed conflicts, military operations”;
- Parts 1 and 2 Art. 361-2 – “Financing extremist activities”;
- Parts 1 and 2 Art. 361-4 – “Promoting extremist activities.”
On September 4, 2023, in Homiel Regional Court Dzmitryi was sentenced to six years in a medium-security penal colony.
