  • Art. 368 of the Criminal Code — Insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus
  • Art. 130 of the Criminal Code — Incitement to hatred

Sentence: 4 years

Penalty: imprisonment in a general-security penal colony

Dzmitry Holub is a foreman of Hrodnazhylstroi OJSC. He was tried in the Hrodna Regional Court in November 2024. Dzmitry was found guilty under three criminal articles: Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement to other social hatred), Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenka), Part 1 of Article 342 (active participation in actions that grossly violate public order).

On November 22, 2024, Judge Dmitry Bubenchyk sentenced him to four years' imprisonment in a general security penal colony.

As reported by the pro-government TG channel, the man allegedly took part in post-election protests and left insulting comments about security forces and the Russian military.
