Dzmitry Shcharbin, 29, was brutally detained by riot police in October 2023, allegedly for comments on social networks. According to Dissident.by, Dzmitry has three minor children.
He was convicted under Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code. On February 28, 2024, Judge Vadzim Bobyrau sentenced Dzmitry to one year in prison.
