Dzianis Puchak was arrested on November 22, 2022. He was charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code ('Active participation in group actions grossly disrupting public order') and placed in remand prison #1 in Minsk.

Before his arrest, Puchak worked at the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ).

The case hearing occurred in the Partyzanski District Court of Minsk. On February 28, 2023, Judge Mikhail Makarevich found Dzianis Puchak guilty and sentenced him to two years and six months of restricted freedom under home confinement. Puchak was released from custody in the courtroom.

On March 24, 2023, he was included in the 'List of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities'.
