Dzianis Hutsin is administrator of the Telegram channel "Drivers 97". He was detained on September 22, 2020 in Minsk after GUBAZIK officers came to search his apartment. He was not released after a 15-day term of detention under Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code. The man was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them).
On June 4, 2021, Judge Zhanna Khvainitskaya of the Zavodski District Court of Minsk sentenced Hutsin to two years and six months in a general-security penal colony.
The political prisoner served his sentence in full and was released on October 25, 2022.
