Dziyana Mitskevich was detained in July 2022. She was first sentenced to 15 days of arrest and then a criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code for ‘group actions grossly violating public order’ was initiated.
She was held in pre-trial detention.
On October 28, 2022, the Pieršamajski District Court of Minsk sentenced the political prisoner to two and a half years of restricted freedom in an open-type penal facility. Mitskevich was released awaiting the commencement of her sentence.
