Dzmitry Karaka is a coordinator of Viktar Babaryka's nomination group. He was arrested on June 18, 2020 along with Babaryka and his son Eduard. Dzmitry Karaka's house was searched before the arrest.
He was initially held in the KGB pre-trial prison, but later transferred to pre-trial detention center No. 1.
On October 11, 2021, Karaka was released from pre-trial detention, but remained under travel restrictions as part of the case.
