Daniil Kasenka was detained on November 22, 2021 for insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka under Art. 368 of the Criminal Code. On November 25, upon prosecutor's office decision, he was taken into custody for 2 months and then sent to detention center. Charges have been pressed against him.
On January 21, 2022, Maskoŭski district court of Minsk sentenced Daniil Kasenka to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility. He was released in the courtroom awaiting the commencement of his sentence.
