Barys Nestsiarovich is a resident of Viliejka arrested on November 11, 2021, and later charged with "active participation in group actions that grossly violated public order" (Article 342 of the Criminal Code) for his participation in a major protest rally on August 23.

On April 7, 2022, Lieninski District Court of Minsk sentenced political prisoner Barys Nestsiarovich to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type penitentiary. The 34-year-old man was kept in custody for five months in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Minsk. The case against him was considered by judge Anastasiya Achalova.

Barys Nestsiarovich was released in the courtroom awaiting the commencement of the sentence.

On July 28, 2022, Barys began serving his sentence.
