Artur Charniauski was convicted of insulting a public official under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to two (2) years of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility. His case was heard in October 2022, by the Gomel Chyhunachny District Court, behind closed doors.
He will be serving his sentence from 6 December 2021.
He was scheduled to be released in early 2024.
