Artsiom Salavei was arrested on August 4, 2021 as part of a criminal case.
He was later charged under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (organization or active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order).
On April 22, 2022 the Minsk Regional Court sentenced the anarchists and political prisoners. Judge Alena Misnik found them guilty under part 1 of article 342 of the Criminal Code and part 3 of article 361-1 and pronounced the following sentences: Aliaksandr Bialou, Yauhen Rubashka, and Artsiom Salavei, born in 1996, each received five years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony, Artsiom Salavei, born in 1995, received four and a half years of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
