Anzhalika Yarmak was detained in Minsk. The pro-government Telegram channels report that she was "trying to jump on a hype train during the protests, posing in front of security forces, posting photos to Instagram". In a ‘repentant video’ Anzhalika confesses to participating in protests and blocking roads. A criminal case was initiated against the couple for ‘group actions that grossly violate the public order’ (Article 342 of the CC) and ‘insulting the president’ (Article 368 of the CC). However, the latter charge was dropped due to the statute of limitations.
On October 24, 2022, Judge Siarhei Katser of the Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk found both Anzhalika and Yauhen Yarmak guilty and sentenced them to two and a half years of restricted freedom under home confinement each.
