Anton Nikitsin and Anastasiya Nikitsina were charged with blocking and obstructing the path of vehicles during two 2020 protests, causing transportation disruptions in the city of Minsk.

They were identified in photos on Instagram, which led to their detention and the subsequent criminal case. Anton was in custody until the trial, while Anastasiya was out on bail.

On September 14, 2023, Judge Andrei Mlechka sentenced them both to three years of restricted freedom without sending them to an open-type correctional institution. Anton was released from custody after the verdict was announced.
