Andrei Zhuliakou is a resident of Zaslaŭje sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment for insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka (Art 368 of the Criminal Code - Contempt of the President).

Andrei and Aksana Martseshkina were detained in the night of 26-27 February 2021 for hanging out leaflets with caricatures of Lukashenka in Zaslaŭje. They were detained for three days and then kept under house arrest.

Aksana Martseshkina failed to appear at the first court sitting. Her case was suspended and she was put on the wanted list. Zhuliakou was sentenced to one year in prison and taken into custody in the courtroom.

Andrei served his sentence in full and was released on April 15, 2022.
