Andrei Rasulau was detained on September 22, 2020, in Homieĺ. Security officers came to the apartment where Andrei lived with his girlfriend. They put the guy on the floor, twisted his arms with a plastic clamp and asked if he knew Dzmitry Padlobnikau. After that, Andrei was arrested.
Rasulau was named a suspect for the events of August 9 under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code, "group actions that grossly violate public order."
He was held in the Žlobin detention center.
Rasulau was later released from pre-trial detention.
At the trial, it turned out that Andrei Rasulau was also charged under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code (violence against a police officer). On March 9, 2021, the Žlobin District Court sentenced Andrei Rasulau to 3 years in a general-security penal colony.
