Andrei Paluda is a human rights defender, coordinator of the campaign "Human Rights Defenders against the Death Penalty in Belarus".

He was detained on 14 July during mass searches of civil society representatives. His home was searched, then he was taken to the "Rights Territory" space for another search.

After the interrogation, he was detained for 72 hours under a criminal case.

Paluda was released after spending 72 hours in detention.
