Andrei Hryshchuk is a resident of Brest, a defendant in a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in riots) opened after the post-election protests of August 2020.

Hryshchuk was initially free under travel restricitons. However, on February 11, 2021, he was arrested and remanded in a pre-trial prison. His trial opened in Brest on April 7, 2021.

On May 21, 2021, Judge Andrei Hrushko of the Lieninski District Court of Brest sentenced Kalishuk to 3 1/2 years in a medium-security penal colony.
