Andrei Baranau is a defendant in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (Organization or active participation in group actions grossly violating public order).
The charge stems from Baranau's involvement in the post-election protests in Hrodna.
On November 22, 2021, Baranau was sentenced to two years in an open penitentiary and released in the courtroom to wait for an appeal hearing.
