Anastasiya Kukharava was arrested in Minsk on January 31, 2022, in a criminal case under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code for "blocking traffic" at the August protests in 2020. 

The girl was transferred to pre-trial detention center.

On May 5, 2022, the trial began in the Maskoŭski District Court of Minsk. On May 6 Judge Volha Malashenka found Anastasiya guilty and sentenced her to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement. The girl was released in the courtroom.

Anastasiya Kukharava is currently outside of Belarus.
