Anastasiya Chumak was detained on October 21, 2022 and sentenced to 14 days of administrative arrest. Later she was sentenced to another 10 days, and then to 14 more days. After that she was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code ('Active participation in group actions grossly breaching public order') and transferred to remand prison #1.

The trial was held in the Zavodski District Court of Minsk. On February 14, 2023, Judge Anastasiya Osipchyk found Chumak guilty and sentenced her to three years of restricted freedom under home confinement. Anastasiya Chumak was released from custody in the courtroom.
