Aliaksei Audzeyeu took part in the strike in 2020.
He was arrested on August 15, 2023. On August 21, he was transferred to pre-trial detention center No.3 in Homel. It is known that a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 1 of Art. 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Active participation in actions that grossly violate public order).
Two weeks prior to his criminal case hearing on October 13, 2023, Aliaksei was sentenced by Judge Nataliya Kachalava at Žlobin Court for printing an "extremist" poster and subscribing to certain groups on Vkontakte, violating Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code. He was found guilty and fined 1,110 roubles (30 basic units).
Aliaksei was absent from the trial due to his confinement in a pre-trial detention center.
On October 27, 2023, Aliaksei's criminal trial began in Žlobin, presided over by Judge Sviatlana Rubakhava. On October 30, she announced the verdict and sentenced him to two years and six months of imprisonment in a general-security penal colony.
