Aliaksandr Pleskatsevich is from Liachavičy district (Brest region). He started serving his sentence in March 2022, in open-type penal facility #43 in Mahilioŭ.
It is known that Aliaksandr Pleskatsevich was placed in a punishment cell for 20 days in late May 2022 for violating the rules of the penitentiary. He was given disciplinary action, first for "unkempt appearance", and then for "a refusal to clean common areas". Pleskatsevich was placed in a punishment cell 10 days, and while he was there, another 10 days were added.
In mid-June 2022, Pleskatsevich was transferred to Prison #4 in Mahilioŭ. It was reported that he was brought there with numerous signs of beatings.
According to human rights defenders, on February 16, 2023, Pleskatsevich was released from open-type penal facility #43.
On March 1, 2023, he was tried under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. Pleskatsevich was accused of "painting white-red-white symbols on seven windows and the facade corner of a house at an unspecified time from February 16 to February 27". Aliaksandr Pleskatsevich did not admit guilt and refused to paint over the symbols. It is known that the symbols were painted on the house before his arrest in 2021. According to the report of the policeman witness, Pleskatsevich was told to paint over the symbols when serving his sentence. However, on February 27, the symbols were still there, and Pleskatsevich was detained. The court of Liachavičy district found him guilty and arrested him for 10 days.
