Aliaksandr Kukharenka

Aliaksandr Kukharenka is an architect and musician from Minsk. He was detained on August 2, 2022, for sharing a video"Raman Bandarenka. General Prosecutor's Office hides murder perpetrators" from ByPol youtube channel. He was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.

However, Kukharenka was not released after he had served his term. A criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code for ‘group actions grossly violating public order’ was brought against him.

On 16 November 2022, Minsk Leninski Court Judge Tatsiana Shotsik sentenced him to two years of restricted freedom in an open-type correctional facility. The political prisoner was released in the courtroom awaiting the assignment to the facility.
