Aliaksandr Katsenka

Aliaksandr Katsenka was sentenced to 18 months of restricted freedom in an open penal facility under Article 369 of the Criminal Code for ‘insulting a police officer’.

He was in pre-trial detention center until his trial on May 24. He began serving his sentence on June 18, 2022.

      Katsenka was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.

Katsenka served out his sentence and was released from prison in the autumn of 2023.
