Aliaksandr Hrynevich was sentenced in Brest to three years of restricted freedom in an open penitentiary ("khimiya") for insulting a government official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code).

According to the indictment, on October 18, 2020, while outside Belarus, Hrynevich posted an "insulting comment" in a Telegram channel under the photo of a police officer of the Lieninski District Department of Internal Affairs of Brest.

The convict was arrested to serve the sentence on November 11, 2021.
