Aliaksandr Haluza was sentenced to imprisonment on August 28, 2023. At the Homieĺ Regional Court Judge Aleh Kharoshka considered the case under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them) and Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code (incitement to racial, national, religious or other social hatred or enmity). The case was considered in a closed court session.
Aliaksandr is now in pre-trial detention center No. 3.
On September 22, 2023, Aliaksandr was included in the list of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
On August 20, 2024, he was pardoned and released.
