Aliaksandr Daineka is deputy general director for technical affairs at TUT.BY.
He was detained on May 18, 2021, in the framework of a criminal case initiated against TUT.BY for tax evasion on an especially large scale (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code).
On March 17, 2022, Aliaksandr Daineka, lead editor of TUT.BY political and economic section Volha Loika, and TUT.BY manager Andrei Audzeyeu were released from pre-trial detention center. The measure of restraint was changed, the charges were not dropped.
