Alina Voitsekh is a resident of Mačuliščy, Minsk district, accused of violence against a police officer under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code.

Alina was detained on November 29, 2020, and taken to the Centraĺny District Police Department of Minsk, where she faced administrative charges (participation in an unauthorized mass event). According to the indictment, Voitsekh threatened one of the policemen in the police department, removed his mask, tried to break free, pushed and bit the officer's thigh, causing him physical pain.

The woman was then sentenced to 13 days, and on December 12 she was taken into custody on criminal charges.

Alina Voitsekh pleaded not guilty in court. According to her testimony, a plainclothes policeman who was in the office during the registration of the report after Alina's question "Who are you?" first grabbed her jacket, started pushing, then pushed her into the hallway and hit her face twice with his palm. After that, Alina bit him on the leg above the knee, and in response the policeman threw her on the floor and stepped on her face.

On January 26, 2021, the Centraĺny District Court of Minsk found Alina Voitsekh guilty and sentenced her to 24 months in a general-security penal colony.

The political prisoner served her sentence in full and was released on October 14, 2022.
