Alena Viarbitskaya was detained on January 23, 2024, on charges of assisting political prisoners. She was released, but in April of the same year she was again detained and placed in pretrial detention.
Alena is charged under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Penal Code (Promoting extremist activities).
The first court session is scheduled for September 19. The case will be heard by Judge Siarhei Khrypach of the Minsk City Court.
