Alena Paulovich runs Lisa copy shop from Barysaŭ. She was detained at the end of July 2022. During the search, the police forced Alena to tear the white-red-white wallpaper off the wall.

A criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code for ‘group actions grossly violating the public order’ was opened against the woman and she was placed in a pre-trial detention center.

Alena was sentenced to 24 months of imprisonment while her husband Dzmitryi received 18 months in a general-security penal colony.

Judge Mikhail Makarevich passed the verdict.

The family has two minor children who are now under the grandmother's care.
