Following a 15-day administrative arrest, a criminal case was opened against Ala Novikava from Minsk.
First, they checked her cell phone and found out that she was subscribed to a local "extremist" Telegram channel and had made a repost there. Later, when Novikova was in the detention center, a photo of her taking part in the 2020 protests was found on the Internet.
