Aksana Yuchkavich is a well-known Christian activist in the Roman Catholic community in Belarus.
Yuchkavich is particularly recognized among Catholics in Minsk for organizing numerous events. She is a former journalist of the official national Catholic portal catholic.by. During Cardinal Pietro Parolin's visit to Belarus in 2015, Aksana interviewed him on behalf of the portal.
Aksana dedicated much of her time and energy to helping those in need. She worked at the Christian social center of the Charitable Mission of the Good Samaritan in Minsk.
She is charged under Article 342 of the Criminal Code.
