Viachaslau Yalnitski is a resident of Minsk sentenced to 2 years of restricted freedom in an open penitentiary for active participation in "group actions that grossly violate public order".

The charges stemmed from the events of November 22, 2020 (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code).

Yalnitski was detained on November 22 and served 13 days in jail for participating in an unauthorized protest under Art. 23.34 of the Administrative Code (Article 24.23 of the Administrative Code in the new edition). He later faced criminal charges related to the same protest.

Yalnitski disagreed with the accusation and admitted his guilt in part.
