Vital Markusheuski was sentenced to two years and six months of restricted freedom in an open penitentiary (“khimiya”) under Art. 367 of the Criminal Code for insulting Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
He started serving his sentence in the Open correctional facility No. 43 on November 7, 2021.
In early 2024 he was released from prison.
