Volha Novikava and Viktar Novikau (the citizen of Uzbekistan) were convicted under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code. On June 6 and 7, 2022 their case was considered by Judge Anastasiya Achalava.

Viktar Novikau was sentenced to three years' imprisonment.

      On November 23, 2022, he was added to the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
