Viachaslau Rahashchuk was detained in Pinsk. He was beaten for three days after arrest. Rahashchuk was charged with participation in "mass riots" (Part 2, Art. 293 of the Criminal Code).

Amnesty International: Tortured detainee denied medical care

Viachaslau Rahashchuk is a taxi driver from the Belarusian city of Pinsk who was arbitrarily detained in 10 August and remains behind bars. He is in need of urgent medical treatment due to injuries he sustained from being tortured while in detention.

 On April 30, 2021, Judge Yauhen Brehan of the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest sentenced the defendant to 6 years in a medium-security penal colony.
