Siarhei Ivantsou is a psychologist, the director of the De Visu pharmaceutical market research agency, and a former employee of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University.
He was arrested in April 2023, allegedly for posting comments on the Belarus Halaunoha Mozhu Telegram channel. A criminal case was initiated against Ivantsou under Article 342 ('Active participation in group actions grossly disrupting public order') and Article 361-4 ('Assistance in extremist activities') of the Criminal Code.
