Siman Kantsevich is a resident of Brest, a defendant in a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in riots) opened after the post-election protests of August 2020.

Kantsevich was remanded in a pre-trial prison in late August 2020. His trial opened in Brest on April 7, 2021.

On May 21, 2021, Judge Andrei Hrushko of the Lieninski District Court of Brest sentenced Kantsevich to 3 1/2 years in a medium-security penal colony.

In September Siman was released from jail.
