Natallia Mikulich was convicted by the Minsk Regional Court as "a person who has committed an act dangerous to society" under Part 1 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code (inciting racial, national, religious or other social enmity or discord), Article 369-1 of the Criminal Code (discrediting the Republic of Belarus), and Article 188 of the Criminal Code (defamation). On September 9 and 11, 2024 the case was considered by Judge Iryna Maika. The court decided on compulsory treatment of Natallia in a psychiatric hospital.

On September 27, 2024 she was added to the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
