Mikhail Khavanski was sentenced on September 3, 2021 by the Niasviž District Court to one year in a penal colony under Art. 364 of the Criminal Code for using violence against a police officer.
He was found guilty of hitting a police officer on the back during the violent dispersal of a protest in Niasviž on August 11, 2020.
Mikhail served his sentence in full and was released from the penal colony on May 30, 2022.
