Mikalai Davidchyk was detained in Moscow on March 7, 2021, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of Belarus. He was on the wanted list in a criminal case under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them). He was held in custody in a pre-trial detention center for a month and a half before being released on his own recognizance.
Following his release, Mikalai left Russia and went to Poland.
