Castro e Silva Sergio is a taxi driver detained on July 12, 2021 for participating in the August 2020 protests. He was charged under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code (group actions grossly violating public order) and Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code (participation in riots).

In October 2021, he was sentenced to three years in a medium-security penal colony.
