Kasia Budzko

Kasia Budzko is an activist of the Belarusian Students' Association and a student of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University. She was detained on November 12 as part of a criminal case under Art. 342 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (organization or participation in group actions that gravely breach public order). Her apartment was searched. Kasya is held in the KGB pre-trial prison.

On July 16, 2021, Budzko was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison.

The political prisoner served her sentence in full and was released on November 30, 2022.
