Kaciaryna Nikicienka was detained in Minsk under part 2 of article 342 of the Criminal Code (training or other preparation of persons to participate in group actions that grossly violate the public order, as well as financing or other material support of such activities in the absence of signs of a more serious crime) on November 28, 2021. She was held in a pre-trial detention facility.

On May 13, 2022, Zavadski District Court of Minsk passed a verdict in the case of Kaciaryna. She was sentenced to three years under home confinement. The woman was released in the courtroom.
