Illia Kurapatkin was convicted of insulting Lukashenka under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code. The case was heard by Judge Yauhen Brehan from April 10th to 11th, 2023, at the Maskoŭski District Court of Brest. Illia was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.
On May 19th, 2023, Brest Regional Court considered Illia's appeal, but the sentence remained unchanged.
