Ihar Faletski is a defendant in the case under Article 368 of the Criminal Code (contempt of the president) and Article 369 of the Criminal Code (contempt of an official).

According to the materials of investigation, on 22 February 2021, being in a state of alcohol intoxication the defendant insulted Lukashenka and traffic policemen Petrychenka and Ryzhyk by using profanity.

The Babrujsk Court sentenced him to one year in prison and sent him to a minimum-security penal colony.

According to the information available to human rights defenders, Ihar should have been released in June 2022.
